Ender Chapter 13 part 3

Ender is patted on the back by the Mayor. "Well done! You saved us all!" the mayor says cheerfully. "Tell me, how did you get so good at a bow?" The mayor asks. "I practice, but if you're asking how I did that shot it was my eye." Ender says. The mayor notices Ender's eye. "You are not of this world are you?" He looks at Theresa and Server "None of you are. Are you?" He asks. Ender looks down sadly "No sir, we are all monsters as the hunters call us." Theresa says sadly. "We don't normally have creatures in our village." the mayor says. "If you wish for us to leave we will." Theresa says. "Why did you three come here in the first place?" The mayor asks. "Hunters where after us. We had been running from them for days and wanted a home." Ender says. "Well you three are welcome to stay for as long as you would like." the mayor says. All three of them look up at him shocked "Really?!" they ask. "Of course, you three seem like good people. And you did save the town." the mayor says "What you think fokes?" he asks the crowd. The crowd cheers. "Thank you sir." Theresa says. "No problem, how about some fireworks?" the mayor asks. "You...you want me to do magic?" Theresa asks. "Of course! Those fireworks you did a few weeks ago where beautiful." The mayor says. Theresa pulls her wand out of her boot and starts shooting off fireworks. The crowd cheers and Theresa finally smiles.
